Fabled Geography
Fabled Geography series is the artist’s daily meditation and practice. The form of the work is inspired by the eroded landscapes of the Pearl River Delta, shaped by water and wind.
She views this series as the result of a dance/body performance. Rolling, bouncing, tapping, blowing, shaking, dropping... The body and the materials interact under the conditions of gravity, and the final presentation is a series of traces left by these movements.
She also sees it as a geographical landscape sculpted by both materials and the body.
