Liquid is a project that delves into the intense human experience and will be presented as a video installation. The video showcases a unique visual concept where everything is doubly framed. Within the frames, performers are immersed in boxes filled with slime, engaging with the compact square space surrounding them.

Los Angeles, a city situated amidst deserts, has a history rife with competition for water resources characterized by fraud, bloodshed, and violence. The inception of Liquid stems from my own inquiries and astonishment regarding how this arid land transformed into a renowned metropolis. Within this context, I question the relationship between people and water. How is it that water, a natural resource, can be monopolized, commodified, and transformed into currency in the power game?

Amidst this game, has the intrinsic connection between water and humanity been severed or distorted? However, Liquid does not attempt to present my research or recount this specific narrative. Instead, it emerges from instinct, material exploration, and comprehension. The project strives to explore the interplay between individuals, liquids, and confining spaces. Throughout the creative process, I had the opportunity to observe the instinctive reactions of people and witness the tension in their bodies when exposed to such an environment.
